He's a misunderstood genius with an intelligence that makes him a great source of information for the BAU squad; his rank there is as Supervisory Special Agent and brought in by Gideon. Reid is considered a little autistic that may be referred to Asperger Syndrome.
Derek Morgan, played by Shemar Moore is the man's man of the team in the TV series Criminal Minds. He specializes in crimes pertaining to obsession and also has a very wide knowledge of explosives from his days on the bomb squad.
