For super-dog Bolt (John Travolta), every day is filled with adventure, danger and intrigue. He runs at incredible speeds, can melt padlocks with his heat vision, and has a handy super bark, to save his young owner (Miley Cyrus).

Mulan sticks out in my mind for this reason. For once, we have a strong female lead, or at the least, stronger than most of them. Disney is exploring legends from other cultures and I am so glad it brought us this one. A wonderful movie to the Disney list. If you haven't seen it, then do so, you won't regret it.

THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL is such a classic Science Fiction movie. Klaatu is a gentlemanly outer-space alien who comes to earth in his flying saucer to send us Earthlings a message. Hard to believe this was made in 1951 - cool movie!
