The Thirteenth Floor may not be a very deep movie, but it is an honorable addition to a newly formed genre that has not yet had time to ossify in its own conventions. Time alone will tell if filmmakers will be able to expand on this theme or whether, as with most genres, it will fall victim to its own inevitable cliches.
This was a really good horror film with an awesome storyline, and great actors. Megan Fox stars as the antagonist in Jennifer's body as a girl whose a vampire and eats boys in order to survive. It's no Oscar-movie, and it doesn't try to be either, but it's a very entertaining and well made horror-movie. Adult Language!
The Thin Man is a great detective story that is enhanced by its classiness and humor. Powell is definitely the physical comedian of the pair, with Loy looking stunning and conveying so much with the looks she gives him. This seventy year old classy and stylish film still holds up well today.
The Giant Claw is a 1957 sci-fi film about a giant bird that terrorizes the world. It is a run-of-the-mill little film, indistinguishable from most of its low-budget contemporaries.
I love this movie not as great as 50 First Dates, but it's definitely a repeater, especially on a rainy day or with a group of girlfriends. Drew played as an ugly duckling in high school which is something I never imagined her being. A great flick!
Earth vs. The Flying Saucers is one of those classic sci-fi movies from 1956. It opens with some guy droning on and on about the UFO problem the world is having, describing this and that over footage of people in airplanes ducking gigantic saucers and meetings of military leaders.
Angela Hayes played by Mena Suvari is the precocious high school cheerleader who dazzles Kevin Spacey in the 1999 Oscar-winning American Beauty. Listen to her clips here. Adult Language
Clips from The Greasy Strangler. Big Ronnie and Brayden have it out.
Penelope is an original and uplifting story that reminds us of life's most fundamental truth, that our beliefs lock us into a particular reality. It is packed full of excitement, surprises, laughs, heartfelt pangs and soaring joy. I love this movie.
A delightful romantic comedy, told in flashback from the wedding of two of the main characters by a guest who was responsible for bringing them together. I love this film! I got some lines here...Some may be offensive..
Cabin Fever was a little horror flick involving college kids and horrible skin conditions, took place in the kind of deep South location most of us have nightmares about getting stranded in. One scene, however, stands out - kid screams "PANCAKES!" and does some kung fu at the air. Then bites a dude. Adult Language.
For those that loved B.I.G he was special to us, and deserving of his story being told just like anybody else who has left us and had their story touch our lives. He left a void, and hip-hop hasn't been the same since he left us. Adult language!
This movie has everything that is needed to be enjoyable, it has good acting, a good soundtrack, good characters, it's really funny, and it got Jennifer Love Hewitt. She seems to be one of the sweetest girls in the world. Everything a teen movie should be many witty moments, pace and charm. Adult Language!
Ice Age 3 is a silly, and yet absolutely gloriously fun romp for all ages. The characters are endearing and amusing, the world they're in is gorgeously rendered, and their adventure, while ludicrous, is nevertheless fabulously enjoyable. The addition of new character Buck provides lots of laughs. Never a dull moment, never a missed step.
Two desperate people have a wonderful romance, but their political views and convictions drive them apart. Katie and Hubbell are truly opposites and that is the attraction. It is the whole liberal falls for conservative story. A romantic and tragic film of 1973 starred by Barbra Streisand and Robert Redford.
Soundboard of various Batman clips.
The music of this movie added more emotion to each scene, making a story that could be fiction seem real, giving one a spine chilling sense of awe, while looking into the face of pure dark, unknowable mystery. Probably being the best of Richard Gere as our bewildered hero.
This movie was made very well considering the Era. The story line was very entertaining and the cast was fantastic every step of the way. This movie is for the adventurer inside all of us, the one we feel when we watch movies about treasure hunting or space exploration. A wonderful fantasy full with lots of wonderful creatures and characters.
