Build around 1981 by an Italian organ society called Elka, the Synthex is one of few polyphonic structured machine to have deep bass, rich strings, complex brass sounds and magical electronic sound of pure analog circuits! It has been used by Tangerine Dream and Duran Duran. After they ended production they made a special one for Stevie Wonder.

Historically, the Minimoog is considered the very first synthesizer for musicians! The 1981 Moog Source synthesizer is one of the best monophonic analog synths ever created. This baby has the super envelopes and classic moog harmonics you have been searching for. Depeche Mode, Tangerine Dream and Air use the Moog Source. These originally sold for $100 US.
