Flight 1549 Cockpit sounds
On January 15th of this year, US Airways Flight 1549 crash-landed in the Hudson River. The plane struck a flock of birds during takeoff minutes earlier at LaGuardia Airport and was submerged up to its windows in the river by the time rescuers arrived in Coast Guard vessels and ferries. All on board were pulled to safety as the plane slowly sank.

Whoop whoop pull up sound
911 Call
Brace, brace, heads down
Felt, heard and smelled the evidence
I didn't crash an airplane
I just crashed an airplane
Birds filling the entire wind screen
Going in the Hudson
Abstractly
Accepting death and seeing life
Amazing site
Began doing our duties
Bird strike
Brace for impact
Bugging people
Challenging situation
Could well be catastrophic
Debt of gratitude
Feeling of relief
Felt comforted by that
Force calm on the situation
Hitting the water is hard
I didn't crash an airplane
Challenging situation
Could well be catastrophic
Debt of gratitude
Feeling of relief
Felt comforted by that
Felt, heard and smelled the evidence
Force calm on the situation
Going in the Hudson
Hitting the water is hard
The river
I had a job to do
I just went crazy
I saw the river ahead of me
I wasn't expecting that
I'm not ready
It was the worst feeling
It was violent
Make it happen simultaneously
Making cell phone calls
My entire life
Not going to end with an undamaged plane
One of disbelief
Sounded like a thunderstorm
Taking care of that
That's when I knew
This doesn't happen to me
Water was just rising
We can't do it
Weight of the universe
You glide it
