Jawa Motorcycle Sounds
The name JAWA was derived from the first two letters of the words Janacek and Wanderer. The first model was a shaft-drive with a pressed steel frame, powered by a 498cc OHV engine. Although priced highly, through the first years this motorcycle was successful and was considered reliable.
